Are you an encore bride? For those with raised eyebrow(s), "an encore bride" is being a bride the second time.

Encore brides usually experience many of the frustrations as first time brides and more with already established family.

Tips to the encore bride:

1. Include all children in the wedding; you may have your entire wedding party established.

2. Include family members of the previous marriage that are with a close relationship with the children.

3. The roles for children can be used as:

a. Ushers

b. Bridesmaids

c. Flower girls

d. Ring bearer

e. Greeter – greet each visitor and direct to the guest sign in book

f. Escort mothers and grandmothers down the aisle

 g. Distribute programs to guests

 4. Share with your wedding planner you are an encore bride and the suggestions may be extended.

5. Meet with everyone and let each know their role. Let the meeting be festive to get everyone in a joyous mode.
